Jennifer injured her neck, shoulder, and low back when she slipped in a puddle of water at work. She described the pain as “horrible.” Her chronic pain was so bad that she couldn’t sleep at night, couldn’t walk, couldn’t do housework, and even struggled to pull the cap off of a tube of chapstick.

She’d tried many different things for her neck pain and shoulder joint pain, including neck injections and the prescription drug Gabapentin. Jennifer was considering neck surgery to find pain relief.
