LASER THERAPY CAN PROVIDE YOU CHRONIC PAIN RELIEF
Monica Halverson
Post-Surgical Knee Pain, Scar Tissue
Monica has had horses since she was 9 years old, but when knee pain prevented her from riding, an important part of her life was taken away from her.
A doctor told her she was a prime candidate for knee replacement. But Monica feared that if the surgery didn’t go as planned, she’d never ride horse again. And that was a risk she was not willing to take. She began to look for an alternative to knee replacement surgery. She saw an ad for Integrated Pain Solutions that showed a farmer climbing in and out of a tractor and thought, “if he can do it, I can too.”
At the first meeting, the doctor explained that if there was just a sliver of cartilage left in her knees, he would be able to help her. She appreciated that he was forthcoming about what could and could not be done to help with her knee pain. Everyone made her feel so welcome that she put her complete trust in the team.
As the doctor predicted, her treatment plan took a few months, and at times she was sore. In the end, Monica called laser therapy “the real McCoy” because now she can ride her horses pain free.
According to Monica, “It was the best investment I’ve made in my health. I can’t say enough about how they have helped me”.
